ROTARY/MEMBERSHIP MOMENT:
George discussed the importance of being a sponsor of a new member to a Rotary club. All members of any Rotary Club must be invited by a current member. A potential member should be invited to a club meeting several times. He or she gets to know the current members, becomes acquainted with Rotary and Rotary's goals, and decides if Rotary is an organization in which he or she would like to participate. After proposal and acceptance the new member should be quickly involved and become an active participant in the workings of the club. Thanks, George.
