ROTARY MOMENT:
George discussed Rotary’s member classification principle. Active membership is based on having at least one representative of each business or profession within the community thus enabling the club to be a true cross section of the business and professional life of the community. This “classification principle” fosters a fellowship for service based on diversity of interest. Thanks George.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Robert thanked all members and their volunteers who worked on our Wings Over Houston parking project.
- Veteran’s Day Luncheon will be at the Omni Hotel at Hiway 6 and I/10 this Friday, November 6th.
- Saturday November 7 will be District 5890’s Rotary Foundation seminar. See our web site, Westchase Rotary. Com for details.
- December 8, and 9 the downtown Rotary Club will sponsor the Lombardi Award.
- December 17: Wonderland in Westchase. We will assist and cook sausage on a stick as a fundraiser.
